LiminalKey (“we,” “us”) operates https://liminalkey.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email us at [email protected].
Information we collect
- Information you give us — your email address, only if you subscribe to the newsletter. Subscribing is double opt-in; you can unsubscribe from any email.
No tracking, no analytics
This is a privacy-first site. We do not run analytics, we do not track visitors, and we set no advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies — so there is no cookie banner to click. We don’t use Google Analytics or any third-party tracker, and we never sell data.
Cookies we set
The only cookies this site sets are essential and appear only after a staff member signs in to the admin panel at /admin:
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| payload-token | Essential (staff) | Keeps the admin signed in | Session |
| lk_totp | Essential (staff) | Two-factor step-up for the admin panel | Session |
As a regular visitor you are never asked to accept cookies, because none are set for you. You can still block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
How we use it
To send you the newsletter emails you asked for, operate and secure the website, and comply with the law. We do not use the site to serve advertising or track you across other websites.
How we share it
We share information only with service providers who help us run the site (for example, our hosting provider and our email provider), and only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of it. Because we don’t sell or share your information, there is nothing to opt out of — but you can still request access or deletion, or unsubscribe from emails at any time, by emailing [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Children
Our website is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Data retention & security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, and use reasonable safeguards (including encryption in transit) to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change. Contact us at [email protected].
